Eric is an entrepreneur and attorney with a legal generalist background who specializes in advising emerging companies/venture capital and start-ups. He advises his clients on corporate formations, strategic and corporate finance, commercial operations, employment matters, and real estate transactions.

Eric ran his own law practice for over 9 years and was a founder, general counsel and Chief Operating Officer for OVAL Digital Inc., a smart home manufacturer, for 6 years. Eric also sat on OVAL’s Board of Directors and served as the Corporate and Board Secretary.

Eric built both his law practice and the in-house legal department at OVAL from the ground up, implementing compliance standards, human resource guidelines, and an entire legal process. He has also advised numerous companies building out their legal and HR processes, and currently provides outside General Counsel services to both emerging companies and established businesses in the New York City area.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Eric worked for ABC News for nearly a decade. He won two DuPont Awards, a Peabody Award and was nominated for three news Emmy Awards.
